The newest addition to the league took on the 2002 season with new uniforms, a new field, and loyal and enthusiastic fans.  Unfortunately, our quest for an undefeated season ended with our first game.  The pursuit for the first-ever Sun Dog win continued for the rest of May, through June, and into July when a surprise forfeit finally added a mark to the WIN column!  In dramatic David vs Goliath style, the Sun Dogs’ explosive offense grabbed win number TWO in the season closer.  A 2-16 season record gave the Sun Dogs plenty of time to rest up during the playoffs and enjoy the remainder of the summer.
