Holy Baptism

Jesus said,

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."

                                                                                   Matthew 28:19

Preparing for Baptism

To begin the process of baptismal preparation, please read this page and contact us for a registration card. Return the completed card to the church office and the pastor will follow up with a phone call to schedule a time to meet together.

The time spent with the pastor will be to have a conversation about the meaning of the Sacrament of Baptism, the responsibilities as parents and sponsors (godparents) and the role of the community of faith here at St. Paul.

If you have been inactive in practicing your faith and now desire to have your child baptized, we rejoice with you as you rediscover the richness of God’s grace. As you begin this journey, we encourage you to join us each Sunday for worship and invite you to prayerfully consider enrolling any other children (age 3 to grade 9) in our Sunday School Program.

At the conclusion of your meeting with the pastor, the date and time of your Baptism will be finalized. The Sacrament of Baptism is a part of the regular Sunday worship at St. Paul. In this way, you will experience the communal nature of the Sacrament of Baptism in its fullness.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask Pastor Hartney or the Church Ministry and Administrative Services Coordinator, Pam Donovan.
